I’ll be straight with you: Great Wolf Lodge is really built for visiting families with kids, not locals, though plenty of local families head over on a weekend when the kids want to swim. It’s probably the best water park in the area, and because it’s indoors it works rain, shine, or snow. Bonus: it’s up in Briargate surrounded by shopping, including Bass Pro Shops, so the grown-ups have something to do too.
